ACTOR Dexter Fletcher looked very different on the red carpet last night years after his fame on 90s kids TV.
The two-time BAFTA-nominated, 57, is now a film director as well as an actor and has appeared in the movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and directed Bohemian Rhapsody.

Many will remember him for his character Baby Face in the musical movie Bugsy Malone in 1976.
Dexter attended the BFI London Film Festival 2023 Opening Night Gala Premiere of Saltburn at the Royal Festival Hall on Thursday.
He attended the glitzy event with his wife Lithuanian opera director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė, 56.
The actor-turned-filmmaker wore a black shirt teamed with a black suit and matching tie.
He was seen smiling as he walked the red carpet hand-in-hand with his wife.
Dexter first shot to fame at the age of six when he landed the role as the robber in Alan Parker’s Bugsy Malone.
At 23 he was the breakout star of the hit British show Press Gang.

He’s worked with a number of notable actors including Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Robert De Niro, Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman, and Liam Neeson.
While also working with esteemed directors Guy Ritchie and David Lynch.
In 2016, Dexter directed the Olympic ski-jumper film Eddie the Eagle, starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman.
Two years later, he took over directing duties on Bohemian Rhapsody, which told the story of late pop star and icon Freddie Mercury and the band Queen.
The film enjoyed huge success – taking £54 million in the UK alone and won four Oscars, including Best Editing and Best Actor for Rami Malek’s portrayal of Mercury.
In 2019, Dexter began working on Elton John’s biopic Rocketman, where he once again worked with Taron Egerton.
It was nominated for four BAFTA nominations and scooped the Best Original Song Oscar for (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again.
He has continued to work on a number of projects and in 2022 executive produced Paramount+ miniseries The Offer, about The Godfather’s journey to the screen.
He recently directed the romantic adventure comedy Ghosted, starring Ana de Armas and Chris Evans, which premiered on Apple TV+.
Dexter lives in London with his wife, whom he married in 1997.
