Eric Rosenbrook appeared with Leida Margaretha on ’90 Day Fiancé’ Season 6.
Eric Rosenbrook from 90 Day Fiancé has been arrested and charged with battery and disorderly conduct in Wisconsin.
Rosenbrook allegedly was involved in an altercation with his wife, Leida Margaretha, with whom he appeared on the popular TLC series in 2018. The pair recently had a daughter, who died shortly after Rosenbrook’s arrest.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ alum pleads not guilty
TMZ reports that on July 4, an intoxicated Rosenbrook slapped Margaretha when she refused to let him hold their infant child. Margaretha told police that her husband has been abusive throughout their marriage. Officers later found Rosenbrook sleeping in his car and arrested him.
Rosenbrook pleaded not guilty during a court appearance on July 7, according to records viewed by Showbiz Cheat Sheet. Per the terms of his bond, he is not allowed to possess or consume any intoxicants or visit a bar or tavern, except for employment purposes. He is also forbidden from having contact with an unnamed individual “except for purpose of visitation of their child in common at the hospital.” That person’s initials and birthdate match those of Margaretha.
TMZ spoke to Rosenbrook after his arrest. He told the tabloid he did strike Margaretha during an argument about how much he had been drinking. But he denied hitting their young child. Rosenbrook also said that he and his wife separated following the fight.
In a July 10 Facebook post (via Radar Online), Rosenbrook said that his five-week-old daughter had died.
“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” he wrote. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life supoort, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom. I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not anwer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”
Rosenbrook and Margaretha appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 6, where their volatile relationship drew criticism from viewers. They said they were invited to appear on the spin-off series Happily Ever After? but declined when they could not agree on a per-episode fee.
