Take 1 is a South Korean music reality TV show on Netflix that was made by Kim Hak-min. It features live performances by some of South Korea’s most popular artists.

In each episode, the focus is on a different South Korean artist. Their main goal is to perform one song, but they only get one chance to do it right. A countdown timer is used at every performance to let the performer know when it’s their turn to go on stage.

During this time, the artist is free to choose where and with whom they want to perform, such as dancers or other artists. To say it again, the most important thing is that they can only do their performance once. AKMU, Sumi Jo, Yim Jae-beum, You Hee-yul, MAMAMOO, and Lena Park are some of the well-known South Korean artists who are in the reality show. Aside from these things, the interesting places that show up in the series are what really get people excited and interested.

Places Where Take 1 Was Filmed

All of the scenes for “Take 1” were shot in South Korea, mostly in and around the city of Seoul. Since all of the artists on the show are from South Korea, it makes sense that the whole thing is shot there. South Korea is a highly developed country that is in the southern part of the Korean peninsula. It has one of the highest life expectancy rates in the world. So, let’s get right to it and look at all the places where the documentary series is filmed!

A lot of important scenes for “Take 1” were shot in Seoul, which is the capital and largest city of South Korea. Seoul is in the northwest of the country. It is considered a global city, and the Globalization and World Cities Research Network has ranked it as an Alpha City. The city is home to the KBS Hall, which is a concert hall in the headquarters of the Korean Broadcasting System in Yeouido. The hall could show up in the series at some point.

Besides that, Seoul has a number of museums that both tourists and locals like to visit. Some of these are the National Museum of Korea, the National Folk Museum, the National Palace Museum of Korea, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. It has been used to film a lot of famous movies and TV shows over the years, like “Parasite,” “Train to Busan,” “Squid Game,” and “All of Us Are Dead.”

The production of The One took over the Central Saint Martins building in King’s Cross, which is in the middle of London. Since 2011, it has been home to the well-known art school. It is in the redeveloped Granary Square, which we also see in the show.

We are in the Barbican neighborhood of East London for scenes with Hannah (Lois Chimimba) and Mark (Eric Kofi-Abrefa). The neighborhood is known for its brutalist architecture, which we see a lot of. Action also happens on the walkways that connect different parts of the area, like when Mark and Megan meet in Episode 6. (Pallavi Sharda).

Damian’s (Stephen Campbell Moore) house is on Valentine Place near Borough Market in SE1, which is another trendy part of London. The show also makes great use of the London Rooftop bar at the Trafalgar St. James Hotel, which is one of the best-kept secrets in the city. In Episode 1, this is where Rebecca meets a high-ranking politician. She is careful to keep herself safe in front of one of London’s most famous landmarks.

The One, like shows like Poldark, His Dark Materials, and The Trial of Christine Keeler, uses Bristol’s old and new buildings to fill out scenes that take place in London. So, Hannah and Megan meet in two very different parts of the city. In Episode 4, they meet at the top of the medieval Christmas Steps near Colston Street. In Episode 8, they meet on the graffiti-covered Moon Street in St. Pauls, near the drum-and-bass club Lakota.

Also in Episode 4, the funeral for Rebecca’s former coworker Ben is held at the Grand Marriott Hotel on College Green (Amir El-Masry). It opened in 1868 as the Royal Hotel, at the height of the city’s trade boom. It is a classic Victorian building, and many weddings take place in the Palm Court, which is often used for this purpose.

Bristol is also the place where many café and restaurant scenes take place. In Episode 1, detective Kate (Zo Tapper) waits for her date at the tapas bar Pata Negra (now called Four Wise Monkeys) on Clare Street in the Old City. This is close to Broad Street and the Ironworks café, where Hannah meets friends in Episode 2. For the meeting between the police and protester David (Paul Brennen) in Episode 6, we’re on Stokes Croft, near St. Paul’s, at the West Indian restaurant Caribbean Croft.

In addition to Bristol, the movie was also shot in Cardiff, which stood in for London. Glynrhondda Street in the Cathays neighborhood was a suburban street in the movie. It also gives the series one of its most memorable settings: James’s (Dimitri Leonidas) glass-fronted modern house in the middle of nowhere, which looks out over a wide estuary.

This is a private house near Llanmadoc on the north coast of Gower. It won the 2014 RIBA Manser Medal, and its architect called it a “modern castle.” Even though it has three floors of polished concrete, it was designed to fit into the shape of the land around it. It’s easy to see why James might want to go there to get away from his troubled past with only his dog for company.

The production moved to the Canary Islands and Tenerife so that Rebecca could meet her match Matheus (Albano Jerónimo). The volcanic deserts in the middle of the island have been used in many movies, from 1966’s “One Million Years BC” to 2010’s “Clash of the Titans,” most of which were filmed there. The One, on the other hand, stays close to the coast. The main characters meet at Matheus’s bar on El Medano beach at the southern tip of the island, where the distinctive Montaa Roja is visible. It’s one of the largest strips of sand here, and it’s a popular place for windsurfing. Not all of the beach is as empty as his patch, though.

We also see the couple enjoying the nightlife in the northeastern town of La Laguna. The location was also used to give the first episode of the series a dramatic start. This is the Auditorio of Tenerife, a very modern concert hall that opened in 2003. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls. It was also used in a Doctor Who episode set in the year 2020. Here, it’s used as a venue for Rebecca to talk about her revolutionary company in a way that feels impressive and futuristic.

A new crime drama set in Belfast will be available on Netflix in early March. It tells the story of a small-time drug dealer who drives through the city streets trying to make one last deal.

Nightride, which was made in a single take, will be on Netflix on March 4. Stephen Fingleton, who directed the movie, calls it a “wry real-time one-shot thriller set on the midnight streets of Belfast.”

It puts us in charge of Budge, a small-time dealer who is trying to make one last deal with money he got from a dangerous loan shark.

When the handover goes horribly wrong, Budge has to hurry to find his missing product and find a new buyer before the loan shark catches up with him.”

Ben Conway wrote Nightride. The main character, Budge, is played by Moe Dunford, who was just in the Netflix sequel to Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Joana Ribeiro (The Dark Tower), Desmond Eastwood (Normal People), Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), Gerard Jordan (Game of Thrones), and Andrew Simpson are among the other actors who are in it (Notes On A Scandal).

The film has an original and very ambitious idea. It is all shot in one continuous shot, which gives us a real-time look at Budge’s character.

Northern Irish director Stephen Fingleton said this about what went into making Nightride: “We practiced as a group for eleven hours a day for a week. We went through the movie in order. First, we broke the script into scenes. Then, we practiced the transitions between scenes. Finally, we rehearsed chunks of the movie.

We did a dress rehearsal, took a day off, and then shot the movie over six nights in six different takes. The shoot went quickly. Because of lockdown, the streets were empty. We’d meet on set at 21:00, switch roles at 22:30, and finish up just after midnight.”

Stephen added that cast and crew were forced to improvise during filming due to the realistic nature of the setting.

He said that not only did the cast have to figure out how to deal with the unruly area where they were filming, but they also decided to keep filming when the police pulled them over while they were filming.

“We were able to get permission to film in the New Lodge estate, where young people and police were always fighting. Over time, the kids figured out when we were filming and started to attack our actors and crew.
