Due to their age difference, Tashaun and Marcell couldn’t play together in high school. After his first year in Laramie, Marcell wore a gray shirt, but the next year he wore a red shirt.
After Tashaun got a starting job as a freshman, the Gipson brothers played together in the Cowboys’ secondary for three years.
Marcell made it easier for Tashaun to move from Dallas to Laramie, which has 30,000 people and is 7,165 feet above sea level. As a freshman, Tashaun Gipson did not pick off any passes.
