Maleko Telea and Tuala Telea, Mark Telea’s parents, are of combined Samoan and Tongan heritage. Many people had the assumption that the 25-year-old winger wouldn’t play for New Zealand because his father was born in South Africa. However, he just proved them wrong.
However, Mark Telea, a member of the Blues wing, came to the conclusion that the All Blacks were the team that he truly wanted to represent. Telea made his debut in 2020 and immediately grabbed people’s attention by playing seven eye-catching games for Super Rugby.
The former student of Massey High School Mark revealed in an interview in 2017 that one of his goals was to play for New Zealand and that he hoped to get a contract with the team eventually.
And in his first game, which was on Monday against Scotland, Telea performed admirably. At Murrayfield, the Blues winger contributed to his team’s decisive victory by scoring two of the game’s four tries, which resulted in a final score of 31-23.

In April 2019, Jerico Telea, Mark’s brother, passed away as a result of injuries sustained after an assault at the hands of an intoxicated individual who was not held accountable for his actions. And not long after Jerico’s death, Tuala Telea experienced the ache of a broken heart.

Mark Evander Telea is a New Zealand rugby union player who was born on the 6th of December 1996. Mark Telea Career
Telea was selected to be a member of the Blues team for the upcoming Super Rugby season in the year 2020 after displaying encouraging play for North Harbour during the 2019 Mitre 10 Cup season. At the beginning of the season, Telea was the Blues’ first choice to play on the left wing. The faith shown in Telea by the Blues coaching staff was justified by the way he performed early in the season. In a match from Round 2, played in wet circumstances in Newcastle, Telea led the Blues to a 32-12 victory over the Waratahs. Telea scored three tries throughout the match. After having a successful 2022 Super Rugby season with the Blues, Telea was invited into the All Blacks team as a substitute on June 30, 2022. This came after Telea had impressed with the Blues.

On November 12, 2022, he was given the starting position of 14, and the match was scheduled to take place against Scotland. He had a successful debut with two tries scored during that match.
Mark Telea Private Life
Telea’s father is of South African descent, and his mother is of Samoan descent. Telea has South African and Samoan ancestry.
In interviews with Stuff, members of Mark’s family said that they were concerned about Tuala’s chances of surviving. Tuala, however, made a miraculous recovery and was able to move on despite suffering a significant emotional setback.
Nevertheless, the Telea family has put the past in the past, and they are now looking forward to watching Mark make his mark on the New Zealand rugby squad. Mark stated in an interview for the All Blacks Facebook channel that everything he does is for his wife and two children.
Mark mentioned that his father was the first person to find out about his selection for the squad, followed by his mother and sister in that order. Additionally, the player mentioned that his father shed tears of delight upon receiving the news.

Sisters of the Mark Telea
Mark Telea, who will be making his debut for the All Blacks, has two sisters. At the very least, this is what can be deduced from his profile on Facebook. Knowing everything there is to know about the winger’s 24 siblings is not realistic under any circumstances.
