Five teenagers have been arrested after a Queensland business was allegedly set alight.

Police were called to a business on Wellington Road in Miles End, Mount Isa at 10.30pm last night.

Investigators found a group of five teenagers nearby a short time later and placed under arrest.

Three out of the five have been charged, while the remaining two are still being questioned by police.

A 14-year-old girl has been charged with one count of arson and one count of entering a building to commit an offence.

She has been refused bail and will appear in Mount Isa Children’s court today.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of stealing, one count of arson and one count of entering a building to commit an offence.

He has been refused bail and will appear in Mount Isa Children’s court today.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with one count of arson, entering a building to commit and offence and endangering property by fire.

He has been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

The investigation is ongoing.
