Trump heads to Washington with Melania, Barron ahead of Inauguration Day

President-elect Donald Trump started his official return to Washington Saturday afternoon to prepare for his historic inauguration.

The Republican, along with wife Melania and youngest son Barron, waved to a crowd of supporters as he boarded his private Trump Force One aircraft in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump will be sworn in as the United States' 47th president on Monday.

The plane will land in Dulles, Va.

Trump, 78, will stay over Sunday night at Blair House and take tea Monday morning with outgoing President Biden before heading to the Capitol.
