Pittsburgh Woman Accused of Getting Boy Shoveling Her Snow Drunk, Sexually Assaulting Them

A 64-year-old Pittsburgh woman was arrested last week after she was accused of getting two boys drunk and sexually assaulting them.

Police said they were called around 9 p.m. on Wednesday about a burglary in progress and when they arrived, they found two boys who appeared to be highly intoxicated, KDKA reported.

“The juveniles were speaking in a nonsensical way exclaiming that a lady had just got them drunk and touched them,” police wrote in the criminal complaint.

Police said they had some difficulty contacting the caller who reported the burglary — later identified as 64-year-old Rochelle Stewart — and when she finally answered the door, she made no mention of any burglary and refused to answer questions.

Police spoke with the boys, who appeared to be around 12 or 13, separately, and they told similar stories: They were walking along Windgap Avenue asking to shovel walkways for money, and Stewart agreed to pay them $5 to shovel hers.

The boys said Stewart invited them inside for hot chocolate, and while they were inside offered them alcohol, which they said they drank. Then, one of the boys said, Stewart sat down next to him, draped her leg over his, and tried to touch him inappropriately. At that point, the boys decided to leave, but they returned when they realized one had left his coat behind.

That was when Stewart called 911, WPXI reported, telling dispatchers the boys were drug dealers trying to break into her house.

Stewart told officers she had not let the boys into her home, but police found the missing coat on her couch and a half gallon vodka bottle that was half empty. Additionally, one of the boys recorded a video of the other boy and Stewart sitting side by side while she rubbed his arm and shoulder.

The boys were taken home after police contacted their parents. Stewart was booked into the Allegheny County Jail, charged with giving minors alcohol, corruption of minors, indecent assault, and false reports to law enforcement.
