Human remains discovered at a property in Wildwood, Victoria have been confirmed as those of missing man Adrian Romeo.

The 43-year-old was last seen at his home address in Craigieburn by his family at about 5.30pm on Saturday, February 10 last year, and was reported as missing two days later.

Police searched the Wildwood property on November 27 and December 10 last year, retrieving a number of items then subject to forensic analysis.

On July 26, a 58-year-old Wallan man was charged with Romeo’s murder following the suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

A 60-year-old Greenvale man and a 29-year-old Wallan man were also arrested and charged with assisted murder on December 10.

The trio will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February 24.
