European brothel manager reveals ‘eight-second’ rule

A woman who manages a legal brothel revealed the club’s “eight-second rule” and what exactly that means.

Catherine De Noire, who is a PhD student, runs a legal brothel in Europe with women who work as independent contractors.

All she supplies is a space and security.

Noire, who has 67,000 followers on TikTok, said safety is a “key feature” of the club and shared that all of the rooms were equipped with panic buttons.

“In case of an emergency or a heated situation, workers are instructed to press the panic button,” Noire said. “The eight-second rule refers to the time frame within which our security team must arrive at the room after the panic button is pressed.”

Noire said the security staff is regularly trained and tested on alarm situations.

Drills are even held for security guards to practice finding the fastest route to a room and getting inside.

She explained in the comment section that the panic button was never hit “more than once or twice a month.”

“Most of the time, the panic button is pressed because the time is up, and the customer either doesn’t want to leave or falls asleep so deeply they can’t be woken up,” Noire said.

She explained she’d been there for nine years and “never experienced any serious cases of aggression.”

Noire recently gave insight into what goes on behind the scenes at the establishment she works at.

She said the brothel is closed between 6am and 10am. That is when all the cleaning — including 100 rooms — is done. It then opens again.

However, it’s “first busy hour” isn’t until midday when office workers visit on their lunch breaks.

It also picks up between 3pm and 5pm when married men “finish work early” and “need to go home on time.”

Between 6pm and 8pm evening shift workers start to arrive. It’s usually quite slow during this time.

It picks up again between 1 am and 4 am, according to Noire.
