Police Seek Tips on 17-Year-Old Texas Homicide Suspect

The Baytown Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in finding a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on December 29, 2024.

Leondre Lynn, 17, is wanted by the Baytown Police Department for questioning regarding the December shooting at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Shady Hill Drive in Baytown, according to Click2Houston.

On Sunday, around 4:30 p.m., police found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

According to the Baytown Police’s social media, “Officers immediately began life-saving measures until the Baytown Fire Department and EMS arrived and took over.” The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Click2Houston reported that Lynn has been living in Baytown for the past few months but is originally from Port Arthur, Texas, according to police. Authorities believe Lynn could help law enforcement understand what happened. They are encouraging anyone with information about Lynn or the incident to come forward.
