Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa rose to fame on HGTV, and while they’re now divorced, Tarek and his wife, Heather El Moussa, are planning to spend the holidays with Christina.
Christina Haack, HGTV star and former host of Flip or Flop, has not had the year she was expecting. In summer 2024, Christina announced that she and her husband of more than two years, Josh Hall, were divorcing. She has taken heat from critics in the process of trying to pick up the pieces, and in a sneak peek of her new show with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, she broke down to him.
Christina has a good relationship with Tarek and his wife, Heather El Moussa, and Heather recently revealed that the three of them will spend Christmas together this year for the “first time.”

Tarek and Christina first found fame through HGTV back in 2013, and they went through a high-profile divorce in late 2016 and 2017. Christina later married and Ant Anstead, but he two divorced. Tarek and Heather met in 2019 and tied the knot in 2021.
In 2022, Christina surprised fans by marrying Josh Hall, but the romance didn’t last. The couple filed for divorce in July 2024, and Christina told Tarek in a clip from the upcoming show The Flip Off that things with Josh were “bad” for a long time. Now, as the holidays approach, Christina and Tarek will be spending them together for the first time in a long time — as a blended family.
“We usually have [Tarek and Christina’s kids on] Christmas day. She has them Christmas Eve, but [this year] I think we’re gonna spend Christmas Eve together,” Heather said in an interview with Us Weekly. “[For] one of the first times.” Tarek and Heather’s son, Tristan, will also be in attendance, of course.

Tarek and Christina are back, but this time, Heather is also in the mix. The three seem to get along so well, and they’re now hosting a new HGTV show called The Flip Off, during which they will essentially compete to see who has the better flip.
The show was initially supposed to star each couple, but Josh will only appear in the first few episodes as his split with Christina happened mid=filming. Christina later said that it was “easier” to film without him. Fans are excited to see Tarek and Christina on such good terms, and they’re thankful that Christina and Heather have such a close relationship.
The Flip Off premieres on HGTV on January 29.
