Kentucky cheerleader breaks neck in horrifying video

Watch the shocking moment a cheerleader at Morehouse State University in Kentucky fell on her head, fracturing a vertebrae in her neck. Corey Martens, 29, stepped last-minute to cheer for her “dream team” when the freak accident occurred during a back handspring. Despite the nasty fall, she avoided paralysis and was back to the sport in just a few weeks. “I’ve said it a billon times already but I’m very, very lucky. Not many people come back from an accident like this this quick,” Martens said.
