Curious passenger leaves flight crew perplexed by getting hand stuck in airplane cup holder

A man aboard a flight from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City let curiosity get the better of him. Acting on a whim passenger Abraham De Laure placed his hand through a cup holder and quickly realized he could not take it out. “It was just intrusive thoughts and I let my thoughts win,” said De Laure.

His friend and seatmate Darshen Kunaseharan, who took video of the incident, called for the flight crew to help assist in the bizarre scene. Kunaseharan said the flight attendant was “completely puzzled.”

De Laure managed to free his hands after several minutes.
