The body of a teenage boy has been discovered in bushland in Sydney’s southwest. 

The remains were located in bushland off Wilton Park Road at Wilton, about 80km southwest of Sydney’s CBD, at about 7.25am on Saturday. 

While yet to be formally identified, the body is believed to be that of a teenage boy. 

Police said the teenager’s death is being treated as suspicious. 

Officers from Camden Police Area Command have secured a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.

Wilton Park Road is currently closed.

Anyone who may have knowledge of the incident or has been in the area since 6pm on Friday has been urged to contact Camden Police or Crime Stoppers. 

Police are expected to hold a press conference about the discovery at 3pm.
