Republican voters have begun celebrating online and in person after Trump was elected president, with the congratulations messages already rolling in.
Tesla founder Elon Musk was the first to declare victory for the Republican party, posting to X frequently, declaring a win for Trump in a series of posts.
Among them is an image of Musk photoshopped into the Oval Office with the caption “Let that sink in,” as well as a photo of Trump and Musk having a conversation as the vote count comes in.
Musk has been heavily involved in the Republican campaign since the start of the year.
Thousands of Trump fans have also turned up to Mar-a-largo to celebrate the win.
MAGA fans have also turned to X, with “Trump,” and “Congratulations Trump,” trending on the platform.
El Savador President Nayib Bukele has been among the first world leaders to congratulate Trump on the victory.
“Congratulations to the President-Elect of the United States of America, @realDonaldTrump. May God bless and guide you,” he wrote.
Billionaire and US Businessman Mark Cuban also sent his congratulations over the platform.
Earlier, Harris supporters on the platform seemed hopeful that the blue wall states would stay blue, highlighting her path to victory.
Before the election was even called, popular Democratic political content creator Harry Sisson said America had “failed women”.
Sisson has over 1 million followers on the short video platform TikTok.
The reaction from other young voters seemed to be a mix of disappointment and hope, as they take to socials to express their opinions.
The VP announced this afternoon that she would not be addressing her supporters tonight.
