Trump was accompanied by his wife, Melania Trump, as he cast his vote.

Later in the day, he said didn’t believe he had to tell his supporters that there should be no violence and that they should accept the results of the election if he loses.

“I don’t have to tell them that,” Trump said when asked whether he would tell his supporters that there should be no violence.

“Would you tell them though?” he was asked.

“I don’t have to tell them that there’d be no violence. Of course there’ll be no violence. My supporters are not violent people,” he said.

“I don’t have to tell them. And I certainly don’t want any violence, but I certainly don’t have to tell them.

“These are great people. These are people that believe in no violence. Unlike your question. You believe in violence.”
