A young fan has suffered a seizure following a violent clash with security guards at a Marvel Stadium rap concert last night.

Social media footage appears to show a fan being knocked unconscious after he was allegedly fly-kicked by a security guard in the Melbourne concert arena.

It’s understood the violent clash occurred when fans began jumping the barriers from a seated section of the stadium to bolt toward the mosh pit.

“He’s landed like on the ground and it looked like he’s hit his head as well, so the security guards just jumped on him straight away and actually tried to pick him up,” witness Alex said.

“That’s when you can see he’s like shaking and then they lie him on his side and that’s when you realise he’s having a seizure.”

“Everyone was a bit on edge and, you know, it kind of took a toll on me and my girlfriend, just like being a bit uncomfortable.”

He was one of five fans taken to hospital from the concert last night, according to Ambulance Victoria.

Police said they were present at the concert, but no arrests or reports were made.

A spokesperson for Marvel Stadium said it was undertaking a post-event debrief with security contractors following the incident.

“While most [fans] behaved appropriately, some were denied entry or ejected for misconduct,” Marvel Stadium spokesperson Jay Allen said.
