Milo Ventimiglia and his wife, Jarah Mariano, announced they’re expecting their first child.
The model, 39, shared the pregnancy news on Sunday by posting two photos where she cradled her baby bump while wearing a bikini and sitting on a surfboard.
The model also included a snap where she tilted her head back and flashed a wide smile while Ventimiglia, 47, gave a shaka hand sign.
“Baby on board!” she captioned the Instagram announcement on Sunday.
Mariano did not divulge the gender of the baby or her due date.
The “This Is Us” star –– who rarely posts on social media –– has yet to comment on the news. However, he previously told Us Weekly that he was looking forward to having a “strong family unit.”
“It will happen when it happens. I’m not out seeking it. It’s just kind of, I’m present in the space in my life that when it presents itself and it’s right, I’m sure it will work out,” he told the outlet in 2017.
Their baby news come exactly one year after they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hawaii.
To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Mariano posted a series of Instagram snaps, reminiscing about their wedding.
“Last year I married my best friend. There aren’t enough words that exist to describe all the special qualities that make him who he is. AlI can say is that I am grateful for the life that we have together and the happiness that we have created🤍 Aloha wau iā ‘oe my husband Milo,” she captioned the pictures.
This was the first time the couple has shared any photos from the special day as they tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
“I try and remain as anonymous and invisible as I can so it doesn’t take away from the experience of the men that I play. I don’t know how interesting my life is any more than anyone else’s,” he explained to People in 2017 about the decision.
However, the “Gilmore Girls” alum did share a small update with “Extra” in February 2024 and gushed that he is “grateful” to have his wife.
“We’ve had relationships that have come and have gone and then you get to a point where you kind of meet your match and meet someone that inspires you in a way different than anybody else. I’m grateful for [Mariano] and I’m happy to have arrived in this moment, so married life is nice,” he shared at the time.
