In any case, Harris knows she has to improve her numbers with men, so she rolls out her “White Dudes for Harris” almost immediately.
It’s a perfect liberal strategy: identity group, use of language that doesn’t appeal to the audience (dudes, Latinx, BIPOC), and a complete misunderstanding of what motivates people they secretly despise.
Well, White Dudes for Harris has rolled out its first ad, and I don’t know about you, but I find it offensive. Perhaps the soi boys in the Harris campaign think that this is what appeals to men, but I doubt it myself.

The Dennis Leary-sounding voiceover, the syncopation, and the ridiculous claim that any person doing their research could even FIND a Harris policy all add up to something approaching contempt being aimed at male voters who don’t want to be addressed as “dudes” by people they don’t know and who seriously doubt that Harris has an economic policy worthy of the name.

People voting on the economy will obviously break for Trump, which is why Harris keeps talking about being “middle class” and says nothing else that she didn’t steal from Trump.

This comes from the same playbook we have seen with Walz and Doug Emhoff, trying to portray them as sexy man’s man. Walz is exactly how coastal elites see Midwestern boobs, and Emhoff, while likely a decent guy, doesn’t overflow with testosterone.

All this comes from being so divorced from the audience that the people who do this fundamentally misunderstand their audience.
I am hardly a man’s man, but even I can see that this is idiotic. People know when they are being played and can smell out how much contempt the modern left has for them. We are “deplorables” and are repelled by this obvious pandering.
