During an investigation that began in June, police allege they discovered evidence to show 21kg of meth had been imported into NSW by a Sydney gang member.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man in a car park in Condell Park, in Sydney’s south-west, at about 5am yesterday.

He was charged with importing drugs and appeared in court yesterday.

Police will allege the man was a founding member of the “Inner West Brotherhood” gang, and that he organised illegal drug imports from a Central American country.

The investigation continues.
