The hunt is on for a mystery South Australian millionaire who has just 11 days left to claim their prize.
The winning lottery ticket, worth $1 million, was bought at a service station in Mawson Lakes on September 27 last year and must be claimed within 12 months.

The BP on the Salisbury Highway has had countless customers pass through its doors, yet none has stepped forward to claim the winnings.

The entry was unregistered, meaning officials have no direct way to contact the winner, but they are searching.

“We do have a team here at the Lott that goes through quite a lengthy investigation process when a prize isn’t claimed,” the Lott’s Anna Hobdell said.

If the winner fails to come forward in time, the unclaimed prize will be forfeited and handed back to the Lotteries Commission of South Australia.

“We currently have 19 unclaimed major lottery prizes across Australia dating back to 2017,” Hobdell said.

“It is worth more than $15 million.”
