Woman admits she ‘messed up’ by stabbing ex-husband over 90 times in garage fight

A Virginia woman who told police she “messed up” after her ex-husband’s body was discovered with almost 100 stab wounds has pleaded guilty.

Carol Long, 63, is facing 15 to 20 years behind bars after admitting she murdered Walter Sigmon, Lynchburg ABC affiliate WSET reported. Court records show she entered a plea of guilty to second-degree murder on Tuesday.
