A man is in a critical after after a horror fall from a hotel. 

The incident is understood to have happened at the Meriton Suites, in Bondi Junction, in Sydney’s east, shortly after 5pm on Thursday. 

Emergency services rushed to the scene and found the man in a critical condition. 

He is understood to have suffered a cardiac arrest while being treated by paramedics at the scene. 

The incident happened during the peak hour at the centre of Sydney’s busiest business and retail precinct.

A NSW Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia officers are treating the incident as a case of self harm.

Police said they will not be providing further comment about self-harm related incidents. NSW Ambulance has also been contacted for further comment. 

The Meriton Suites are renowned luxury accommodation providers in Sydney and operate at 16 locations across the city. 

The hotel in Bondi Junction offers guests several premium suites with stunning views that overlook the Sydney skyline.

The hotel is rated four out of five stars according to leading online accommodation website TripAdvisor. 

A one bedroom luxury suits costs guests up to a massive $200 dollars a night.
