At about 7.45pm on Friday, August 16, police were called to a hotel on Merrylands Road, Greystanes.

They were told a 48-year-old man had punched and stomped on a 39-year-old man’s head before leaving.

The 39-year-old was taken to hospital and treated for serious head injuries.

At about 6am yesterday, police carried out a search warrant at a home in West Pennant Hills.

A 48-year-old man, who police allege is a member of the Bandidos with retired status, was arrested and charged over the Greystanes fight.

He was refused bail and appeared in court yesterday.

The investigation continues.
