Kay Adams laughed off rumors that she’s dating New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones after he left her stuttering during an interview last month.
The Sportscaster brought up the rumors while chatting with Jones’ teammate and offensive guard Jermaine Eluemunor about their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday’s episode of “Up & Adams.”
“You gotta protect your boy, my boy, [who] the world [and] internet thinks [is] my boy,” Adams said while trying not to laugh.
The TV personality, 38, couldn’t keep her train of thought as she burst into laughter.
“I’ve seen it, I know what you’re talking about,” Eluemunor, 29, chimed in, referring to the several TikTok videos about Adams’ alleged romance with Jones.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” she added. “A girl can’t win. I’m trying to hype up your boy.”
Eluemunor interrupted saying, “Daniel’s a good-looking guy.”
The former “Good Morning Football” host responded, “Is he keeping that beard?” referring to Jones’ facial hair that he grew during training camp over the summer.
Later in the interview, Eluemunor discussed how he plans on protecting Jones on the field at Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
“I believe in you. Go protect my boyfriend,” she joked.
Last month, Jones, 27, and Adams sparked romance rumors during an interview at the Giants’ training camp.
Fans pointed out that Adams was stuttering while chatting with the NFL star about the forthcoming football season and his personal interests.
She poked fun at his beard, explaining she was “tasked” at making him keep it with “any influence” she has.
Adams also stumbled over her words as Jones shared he was a fan of country singer Zach Bryan.
“I’m a little worried,” she said while fidgeting with her note cards.
“I’m trying to find some drama here for Giants fans.”
Per the US Sun, Jones is in a relationship with Ella Bonafede.
Bonafede was a lacrosse player at Duke, where Jones also attended.
Adams, meanwhile, isn’t publicly linked to anyone.
