Napoli have confirmed the signing of midfielder Scott McTominay from Manchester United in a deal worth €30.5 million.
The transfer agreement includes a 10% sell-on clause, proving United’s continued interest in McTominay’s future.
The 27-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Napoli, which will see him earn €3 million annually until 2028.
In a statement, Manchester United acknowledged McTominay’s departure, saying, “Scott will be missed by everyone at the club. We wish him success as he starts this new chapter in Italy.”
McTominay’s switch to Serie A is part of Napoli’s aggressive summer transfer strategy under manager Antonio Conte, who has already secured high-profile signings like Romelu Lukaku and David Neres.
McTominay brings with him a wealth of experience, having scored 29 goals in 255 appearances for United, including 178 in the Premier League.
