Melbourne man fights for life after vicious carjacking and stabbing - with two women arrested

A man has been rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by two women during a violent carjacking in Melbourne’s south-east on Sunday night.

The attack occurred near a strip of shops on Lurline Street in Cranbourne, where the man was assaulted by two women.

Earlier that night, around 9.40pm, the same two women are believed to have attempted a carjacking on nearby Sladen Street but were unsuccessful.

The pair allegedly approached the man, stabbed him, and stole his vehicle, which they then drove to Pakenham, before they were arrested.

Anyone with information or anyone with CCTV/dash cam footage is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
