Five people were inside the car, including 18-year-old Nick Campo, who was tragically killed.

Another friend Tyler Rowe came out of a coma just a few weeks ago.

“I would’ve definitely told him not to hop in that car, because I’d still have one of my mates here,” he said.

“If you know the driver has been doing something he shouldn’t have, just have the guts really to call it out, say something.”

The accused 17-year-old will appear in Perth Children’s Court on the new charge in September.
