Emergency services were called to the collision on Stapylton Jacobs Well Road in Gilberton about 10pm.

Police reported that the Ford ute caught fire following the crash.

A six-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man from Waterford were inside the Ford Ranger and received minor injuries.

The driver of the Commodore was not physically injured.

The 29-year-old driver of the Ford ute from Browns Plains was uninjured and has been charged with driving over the middle alcohol limit (0.104), dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving without a licence, driving an unregistered vehicle, and fuel theft.

He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates court on Monday, September 16.
