Juan Soto puts on epic three-homer show for Yankees against White Sox

CHICAGO — Juan Soto’s long list of milestones grew on Tuesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The Yankees star crushed three home runs in a game for the first time in his career, staking his team out to a 4-0 lead through seven innings against the White Sox.

Soto’s first two homers of the night went to the opposite field before he pulled the third one to right field in left-on-left matchup in the top of the seventh inning.

In one night, Soto got a whole lot closer to breaking his career-high for a single season, which had been the 35 homers he hit last year with the Padres.

He has now clubbed 33 in his first season in pinstripes, continuing a monster walk year before his free-agency showdown this offseason.

When Soto homered in the fifth inning — his second of the night off White Sox righty Jonathan Cannon — it marked the 23rd time in his career that he hit two home runs in a game.

Then he one-upped that feat in the seventh with a long ball off lefty reliever Fraser Ellard.
