Monday’s result marked the 20th time the Powerball jackpot has been won in Pennsylvania since the Powerball game began in 1992.

The ticket holder will now have a choice between the annuitized prize of $213.8 million or a lump sum payment of $106.4 million, the Powerball officials said.

The Monday drawing was the first Powerball jackpot victory since July 3, when the $139.3 million price was drawn in Ohio.

The drawing produced 346,939 winning tickets across the US, including eight tickets that won $50,000 prizes and two tickets that won $150,000 prizes.

The jackpot will now reset to $20 million. The next drawing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 14.

A New Jersey bus driver and avid lottery player was the lucky jackpot winner in June, when the grand total came in at $222.6 million.

Harish Patel, the store clerk who sold that winning ticket, said the winner was a “nice man” who came to his shop every day to spend almost $60 on lottery tickets.
