A man stabbed both his parents at the couple’s Ohio home after his mother told him he could not stay the night and she asked his father to call for psychiatric help, according to police.

The defendant, Kenneth Mortimer, 40, had allegedly dragged his fleeing mom, Barbara Mortimer, 75, back inside to kill her.

Online records show he currently sits in the Hamilton County jail for murder, attempted murder, and felonious assault.

His father, a 75-year-old man, survived, but had to go to UC Hospital with serious injuries, police said.
