Police are investigating after three people were allegedly assaulted during a home invasion in Adelaide’s north.

Police allege a group of people entered a home on Galda Way in Munno Para just before 1.15am today, allegedly demanding money and assaulting three people inside.

The group allegedly used a metal pole to strike a 51-year-old man, a 61-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man.

The 51 and 61-year-olds were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were unable to locate the alleged offenders after a search of the area.

They believe it was not a random attack.
