A 50-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed another man during a road rage incident south of Adelaide yesterday.

SA Police said a white Nissan ute was driving south on Main South in Aldinga Beach when an incident occurred with the driver of a white Toyota.

Police will allege the Toyota driver was “gesticulating and driving in a dangerous manner,” and followed the Nissan closely.

The two cars stopped on Norman Road, where the driver of the Toyota allegedly stabbed the driver of the Nissan.

A 36-year-old man from Sellicks Beach received a minor puncture wound and was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police attended the scene, before going to the Aldinga Beach home of the man accused of the attack.

The 50-year-old was arrested and charged with aggravated assault causing harm.

Police said they recovered a knife used in the alleged attack.

He will face Christie’s Beach Magistrates Court on September 19.
