It’s over! Simone Holtznagel and Jono Castano split just weeks after she gives birth to their baby – as he moves into the ‘dog house’ and she goes to live with her parents

Simone Holtznagel and Jono Castano have separated just three months after welcoming their baby daughter Gia.

Celebrity personal trainer Jono confirmed he and Simone decided to go their separate ways nine weeks ago, around the end of May.

Jono exclusively told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We just decided it was best for her to spend time with her family in Wollongong.

‘Who knows what the future holds our idea is just to be the best parents for Gia at this stage.’

Their separation came around nine weeks after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby daughter called Gia, into the world on Easter Sunday.

The couple are believed to still be on amicable terms and are focusing on co-parenting their beloved daughter.

News of their split comes just days after they jetted off on a trip to Tasmania with Jono’s ex Amy Castano and her new partner Aaron Evans.
