Two helicopters have collided shortly after take-off in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.

The two choppers crashed near Mount Anderson Station at Camballin at about 6.20am local time on Thursday.

Emergency services have rushed to the scene with fears raised for the wellbeing of the people on board.

WA Police believe the pilots were the only ones inside the helicopters.

The Kimberley Agriculture and Pastoral Company run the Indigenous-owned cattle station.
