Product Safety Australia (PSA) recalled the Varmfront power banks due to a manufacturing fault, which could lead to the product overheating and melting during use.

The product safety watchdog warned there was a “risk of serious injury from burns or property damage from fire if the power bank overheats during use”.

The power bank was sold in-store and online between March 1 and April 1.

Affected products have the data stamps; 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319 and model number E2038.
