Shots rang out at a Pennsylvania rally where former president and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump appeared to be wounded on Saturday and was quickly whisked offstage.

U.S. Secret Service agents collapsed on Trump, who appeared to have a graze wound near his right ear.

Butler County District Attorney Richard A. Goldinger told ABC News that a shooter was dead and one bystander was “confirmed dead” and “possibly a second bystander is also deceased.

In a statement following the incident, Trump’s campaign said he was “fine.”

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act,” spokesman Steven Cheung said. “He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”

Trump was showing border crossing numbers on a chart during the rally when shots rang out.
