A doctor has been charged over the alleged sex-related assaults of two patients at a Sydney medical centre.
Police will allege a 28-year-old woman was indecently assaulted during a consultation on June 4 at a medical centre in Arncliffe.
On June 26, a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted during a consultation at the same medical centre.
Police were alerted and officers from St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation.
Dr Ahmed Al-Sudan, 45, of Monterey in Sydney’s south was arrested at the medical clinic and taken to St George Police Station on Friday following police inquiries.
He was charged with sexually touch another person without consent and sexual intercourse without consent.
He was refused bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
Police inquiries continue.

On the Health Engine website, Dr Al-Sudani is described as having ‘over 17 years of experience in medicine and has been working in Australia as a GP since 2011.
‘He holds a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery and has the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate as well. Additionally, he obtained a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
