BOLO: Multiple Agencies Searching for Missing Tot Girl and 21-Year-old After ‘Strange’ Disappearances

The Pullman Police Department announced Monday that they found 2-year-old Seraya Aung Harmon at a roadside checkpoint near Santa Ana, Mexico, over the weekend.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Pullman police in Washington, in collaboration with the Moscow Police Department and the FBI, began investigating Seraya’s disappearance on May 29, when she was last seen with her father, Aaron Aung.

Police said Aung and Seraya were supposed to be heading to Montana for a fishing trip but never returned. Seraya was also scheduled to meet with her mother in Pullman for a custody exchange on June 3, but never showed up.

Aung’s fiancée, 21-year-old Nadia Cole, was reported missing by the Port of Seattle Police Department in late May and was suspected to be traveling with Aaron and Seraya.

Mexican police detained Aaron, Seraya, and Nadia, then handed them over to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Aaron is behind bars at the Santa Cruz County Detention Center in Nogales, Arizona, awaiting extradition to Whitman Count. He’s been charged with custodial interference.

Cole was deported back to the U.S., and Seraya is under the care of Arizona Child Protective Services.

The story is developing. Check back for updates.
