Two firefighters who vanished from Georgia on Tuesday are reportedly believed to be in Tennessee.
WXIA reported that Chandler Kuhbander and Raegan Anderson’s phones are off but their last known location was in Cosby, Tennessee. Their whereabouts since Tuesday night remain a mystery — though vehicles belonging to Kuhbander and Anderson were discovered in Savannah and Richmond Hill, respectively.
Anderson and Kuhbander are both Hinesville firefighters and they previously dated for seven years. WJCL reported that Anderson was arrested in late June for vandalizing Kuhbander’s car after he went on a date with another woman.
Kuhbander’s family suspects he did not leave voluntarily.
“He was telling me she was blowing up his phone, and he said that she had threatened that she was going to commit suicide. And, it’s not the first time that she’s done it,” Kuhbander’s mother told WJCL.
On Monday, Anderson allegedly went to a Crunch Fitness in Savannah, which is also Kuhbander’s gym. Kuhbander’s mother claimed she viewed surveillance footage which showed Anderson driving around the gym’s parking lot with her son as a passenger.
According to reports, the pair may be heading to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. They are likely traveling in a black 2017 Ford Focus with Georgia license plates reading GEX655.
