HER dreamy jog across the beach in a nude-coloured swimsuit launched Bo Derek as the definitive 70s sex symbol.
Now 45 years on, the 67-year-old still has the high cheekbones and killer figure that made her a star, as she took a turn on the red carpet in Sardinia this week.

Dressed in a striking outfit with minimal makeup, Bo radiated a timeless elegance and aloofness, synonymous with the golden age of Hollywood.
Best known for her break-out role in the film 10 opposite British actor and comedian, Dudley Moore, the former model went on to star in films including Tarzan the Ape in 1983 and Bolero in 1984.
In 2020 it was revealed that Bo had secretly tied the knot with Sex and the City star, John Corbett, 63, having been dating since 2002.
Initially they kept the news quiet, until John shared their story in an interview. He said: ‘Around Christmas time, we got married. Bo and I got married.
‘We got married, and this is probably the first time – we’re pretty private people, we didn’t make an announcement…
‘All our friends and family knew. But this is the first time either one of us have said something publicly about it, because really we haven’t had the opportunity.
‘After 20 years we decided to get married. We didn’t want 2020 to be that thing that everyone looks back at and hated… let’s get one nice thing out of it’.
The couple got together after being set up by John’s agent, after he admitted he had no one to take to the Oscars party.
Initially, he aid he ‘was very intimidated’ before first meeting Bo, but once they got to know one another, Bo said ‘it was just an attraction, a comfort.’
Before she met John she thought she would never find love again, having lost her husband John Derek to heart failure in 1998. But after meeting John, everything changed. She said: ‘I became attracted to him and I still am. We take things day by day and I think we are still there. We’re starting to get a little more settled.’
