HALSEY has chronicled her health battle in a new Instagram post.
The singer announced a new album called The End, which is out now, and tagged the Lupus Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in her post.
Halsey, 29, was seen rubbing her skinny legs in the video.
She winced in pain and said that she “feels like an old lady.”
“I told myself, I’m giving myself two more years to be sick and at 30 I’m having a rebirth,” Halsey told whoever was filming her.
“And I’m not gonna look sick and look super hot and have lots of energy.”
“And I’m going to get to redo my 20s in my 30s,” she said.
Halsey wore a beanie on her head, shorts, and an oversize gray shirt.
She had medicine bottle in front of her on the table and appeared frail.
Halsey never said what she was battling, but did tag the two charities.
She also shared videos of her getting treatment and being hooked up to an IV.
“Today is day one of treatment,” Halsey said into the camera, panning to the machine that she was hooked up to.
The last video chronicled her recovery journey.
It began with Halsey crying and then she showed the different times she was receiving treatment.
Her short hairstyle became a buzz cut by the end.
