SABRINA Carpenter shared the inspiration behind her hit song Espresso from when she was a teenager.
The 24-year-old singer has reached new heights after debuting her new song Espresso at Coachella earlier this month.
Sabrina uploaded a screenshot of an old Tweet made from her account when she was just 15 years old.
The Feather singer uploaded the Tweet via her Instagram story.
“Ppl r always scared to give me caffeine!!!?” it read.
“I don’t know whyyyyy those little espresso things taste so cute and I likemmmm,” it concluded.
The screenshot was dated back to March 16 2016, eight years before the release of Sabrina’s latest hit.
Sabrina first reached fame in her teen years after she featured in several Disney television shows and movies, including Girl Meets World and The Hate U Give.
The song reached number seven of the Top 100 when it was released and reached top new entry of the week according to the World Music Awards.
Sabrina had been enjoying a busy schedule due to completing a world tour before Coachella.

While performing at Coachella weekend two, Sabrina made a cheeky reference to Barry.
“Man his knees so weak he had to spread mine,” she began singing.
“He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine, Coachella, see you back here when I headline.”
Sabrina’s mention of “drinkin’ bath water,” referred to a raunchy scene in Saltburn, where Barry’s character drank from a tub after his friend left it.

The crowd went crazy after Sabrina’s mention and several fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their delight at her shoutout.
“LOL I LOVE HER saltburn reference … girly not shy about her MAN,” wrote a fan.
“Sabrina carpenter the icon that you are,” added another.
“The Saltburn reference I’m screaming,” gushed a third.
The 31-year-old actor was first linked with Sabrina in December 2023 when rumors started popping up they were dating.
They were confirmed as official after they attended an Oscars afterparty in March.
