AN EIGHTIES pop-folk group have announced their reunion more than three decades since their split.
The Whispers hitmakers – who have scooped two Brit Awards – are releasing a new single and album after realising “there were lots of things left to say.”

Fairground Attraction formed in the mid-Eighties in London and have since cemented themselves in soft rock-folk pop history.
They are comprised of Eddi Reader on vocals, Mark Nevin on electric and acoustic guitars, Simon Edwards on guitar and Roy Dodds on drums.
They scooped two number one hits including first single Perfect as well as track Find My Love, as well as high praise for their debut album, The First Of A Million Kisses.
Their split in 1990 – while they were in the midst of creating a follow-up album – came as the pressures of fame hit hard.
A makeshift second album, a collection of B-sides and live tracks, Ay Fond Kiss, was released that year yet they are now giving things a second stab.
Second time lucky
Scottish singer Eddi, 64 – who forged a solo career in her own right after the split – has spoken out on the reunion.
She told BBC Radio’s Good Morning Scotland programme: “We just realised that we were very important to one another in our experience on this planet, and there was lots of things left to say.”
Fans were recently left stunned after Eddi showcased a completely different look in a snap with Cliff Richard.
Recently she has enjoyed a break from singing to take up a career in acting.

She played Jolene Jowett, a singer in John Byrne’s Your Cheatin’ Heart, a comedy-drama series for BBC Television, set in Scotland.
In 1993, she was also the presenter of BBC Scotland’s No Stilettos, a music performance programme aired in Glasgow.
Meanwhile, speaking of Fairground Attraction’s comeback, guitarist Mark Nevin said the group could “remember how much fun it was” after reigniting their live performing sessions.
He told the channel: “There’s something about the chemistry between people in a real band. You can’t create it out of session musicians.

New single, What’s Wrong With The World, has been released.
An album is planned for later in the year, as well as a UK tour.
This includes dates across the UK as well as in Japan.
The group has a huge fanbase in the nation after touring there in 1989.
