Most parents are constantly on the lookout for creative ways to make their life easier while keeping their children happy.

And now mothers and fathers from around the world have shared their genius tips online – and Bored Panda collated a selection of the best examples into a gallery.

They include one creative idea to put half a smiley face on each of a pair of children’s shoes so they can match up the picture to make sure they are on the correct feet.

Elsewhere a father, in Shanghai, gave his son three toothbrushes and two toothpastes to allow him to pick which one to use, giving him a false sense of control about brushing his teeth.
