Jodie Marsh reveals shock split from her builder boyfriend Mark as she tells fans ‘I’m actually quite boring’

JODIE Marsh has split from her builder boyfriend Mark – because he didn’t enjoy her “simple life”.

The 45-year-old told fans “I’m actually quite boring” as she revealed the reason behind their break up.

Jodie has been married twice. The first marriage to James Peacock was in 2007, and lasted just two months after the pair met on the reality show Totally Jodie Marsh: Who’ll Take Her Up the Aisle?

She was then married to James Placido for eight months in 2016, eventually splitting after she claimed he had been making “monetary demands”.

Jodie was also engaged to DJ David Doyle in 2006 after just 11 days of dating but the couple called it quits just weeks later.

She fell for builder Mark while living and working with him as they built Fripps Farm, her animal sanctuary.

However, revealing on Instagram that she’s single, ex-glamour model Jodie confirmed her wild party days are over as she explained the reason behind their split.

“I think this sums up why I’ll never find a life partner,” she wrote.

“Me, ‘I want a lovely calm, happy, peaceful life, rescuing animals. I want to lay on the sofa and read books and listen to music.

“I want to plant rose bushes in the garden and I’m actually quite boring. I need a man who understands that my life isn’t all glam and craziness.

“Someone who wants to chill with me and realises that I can be quite boring but who enjoys the quiet times.

“I need a man who understands I live a simple life in the countryside.”

Fripps Farm opened in 2020 at a previous site in Chelmsford where she had around 350 animals, including meerkats, sheep, emus, birds, rabbits and even a baby deer.

Since then, Fripps has also become a CIC (Community Interest Company), which is similar to having charity status, and means it is officially recognised as being a “service to the community,” and can receive donations and help with funding.

The sanctuary now has over 600 animals, including “loads and loads of ducks,” more than 20 equines, meerkats, skunks and a lot more exotics – including a noisy parrot that squawks throughout our interview.

Fripps even has a shonkey, called Ernie  – a Shetland Pony-Donkey cross, which she claims was the second born in the entire world.

“It’s wonderful here,” Jodie gushes. “It is like paradise, it is like heaven on Earth. It is a proper, proper animal sanctuary.”
