Several passengers are in hospital after an SUV and a bus collided on the Gold Coast.
Paramedics said they assessed nine patients after the Jeep Cherokee and bus collided on Brisbane Road in Labrador just after 7pm.
Police said multiple bus passengers were taken to hospital after what they described as a “serious” crash but couldn’t provide further details.
The Jeep driver, a 25-year-old man from nearby Arundel, was also taken to hospital.
Eastbound traffic was briefly diverted away from the busy road.
The forensic crash unit has been called to investigate.
