Miley Cyrus was completely unaware that her sister Noah Cyrus and “Prison Break” actor Dominic Purcell had allegedly dated before he married her mom, Tish Cyrus, a new report by People claims.
“Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all,” a source close to the 31-year-old “Flowers” singer told the news outlet just days after the alleged romance between Noah, 24, and 54-year-old actor was revealed.
“[Miley] confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy,” the insider added.
Late last week, several outlets claimed Noah and Purcell previously dated.
“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on,” an insider told People Friday.
“They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up [with him].”
The Cyrus family matriarch, 56, was allegedly aware of Purcell’s relationship with her young daughter, but she “never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”
A source for “Entertainment Tonight” further claimed that Tish didn’t warn Noah about her budding romance with the actor, leaving Noah “offended” by the entire situation.
Noah, who was recently spotted at Paris Fashion Week, also didn’t attend Tish’s wedding to Purcell in August 2023.
Us Weekly was first to report the news, with an insider claiming, “Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him.”
“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her,” the source alleged.
Rumors of a Cyrus family feud first started when fans noticed that Noah and her brother Braison didn’t attend their mom’s wedding.
Instead, Noah spent time shopping at Walmart with Braison.
Page Six sent comment requests to reps for Miley, Tish, Noah and Purcell regarding the reports, but we have yet to receive any responses.
Tish and Purcell tied the knot in maid-of-honor Miley’s backyard just a little more than a year after Tish filed for divorce from her ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus.
Tish shares three children — Miley, Noah and Braison — with the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and two — Brandi and Trace — with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson.
As for Noah — she announced her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023.
